Come by Open Eye on February 19th at 6pm for a special info session! In August of 2018, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce is traveling to Colombia and you’re invited. Come and learn about the trip details and more about signing up. As a bonus, hear from our local Carrboro Coffee Roasters about their relationships with Colombian coffee farmers and their own travel experience.

Town of Carrboro Celebrates Douglass at 200

We’re excited to be sponsoring the Town of Carrboro’s celebration of Fredrick Douglass’ 200th Birthday at the Century Center on February 5th at 7pm. Join us for presentations from James E. Williams Jr., retired Orange/Chatham Chief Public Defender, Michelle Lanier, Executive Director of the North Carolina African American Heritage Commission, and Jaki Shelton Green, award-winning poet. Carrboro Coffee will be serving light refreshments!
