A Night of Ambience 2 with Ty Lake

Ty Lake is the electronic-production project of Triangle musician Tyler Billman (These Weak Lips, Lord Bendtner, Sam Brown Seven). Ty Lake has opened in service of many experimental artists, most notably Andrew Dreyblatt and Rafael Toral, and frequently gigs in the Triangle and NC Piedmont area. Ty Lake’s music embodies free-improvisation tradition, learned in the UNC Jazz Department, and continuously creates an ever-evolving, dream-like performance that features vast soundscapes, lush ambience, and broken, angular beats. Every second is a new genesis, each performance the birth of a new creation. Come float off into Ty Lake…
